OBJECTIVE

The main objectiveis to introduce to the people of Leicester and the surrounding areas the concept of traditional Indian cuisine presented with our own style, cooked on premises as per order using only fresh ingredients without any artificial flavours. It will bring in people of any age group coming in for a take away, celebrating an occasion or entertaining a business client or just want a quiet evening in a great ambience offering consistent food and courteous service and getting value for their money.



POSITIONING STATEMENT

Indiana will offer an innovative and unique dining experience trough the showmanship of our kitchen headed by experienced chef Manju Belki who himself is very experienced in European, pan Asian, Indo-Chinese and traditional Indian cuisine bringing with him over 25 years of culinary experience from India into the kitchen of Indiana.

PRODUCT

The food will be light, concentrating on freshness, and simplicity but will include complexity in its sauces. The food will be well presented and full of flavour.

The bar will offer exotic cocktails and mocktails rather than just spirits and lagers. Our bar menu will attract guests of all ages and our well selected wines will compliment the food. Different types of hot beverages will also be offered. An extensive wine list will also be available.



THE TEAM

The team will interact with the guests talking them through the whole concept of our restaurant and cuisine. The service staff with our service sequence will make the atmosphere relaxed and informal. They would also be briefed of how to interact with customers. The F.O.H. staff will be well trained about our cuisine we serve in the restaurant. (Product knowledge)

STRATEGY

Indiana will always concentrate on building a large customer base and then through consistent quality of food and service, a large repeat customer base to be built. A positive word of mouth will be the key.

It should give people a chance to speak about us positively, especially when they sit in their social circle. More advertising and promotional ideas will be a part of our group discussion on monthly basis.
